You’ve been looking forward to this all week. You log into the therapy session, say hello, and talk about how the last week went. We discuss what’s going well, what’s been difficult, and what you want to focus on this week.

This time is when you can relax and be yourself. You don’t have to put on a happy or brave face when you don’t feel it. You don’t have to live up to someone else’s expectations. Whatever you’re feeling, thinking, or being in this moment is enough.

Even the parts that feel weird, scary, or shameful are okay here. You finally have a place to share everything you’ve never said but are bursting to get out. And it feels fantastic to feel seen and heard and have someone help you understand it all. You feel like you have a plan to move forward. You take a deep breath and feel your body and your mind relax.

Therapy helps you figure things out.

Through therapy, you learn how to feel better and ask what your emotions keep trying to tell you because it’s usually something useful.

Figuring things out helps you start planning for stressful situations. That critical voice in your head is no longer the one bossing your around.

You can learn what you need from others and how to ask for it through practice. You can give yourself permission to relax while still working on your goals and become the person you’ve always needed in your corner.

Sleeping becomes better for you. You start making time to have fun, connect with your people, and rest.

Management of life becomes easier as you move through work and school with a plan to take care of yourself and manage the stress. It becomes easier to think through options, prioritize your needs, and know what will bring you the most happiness.

And you don’t feel guilty for doing that anymore. Life feels like a breath of fresh air.

Trusting yourself becomes more effortless.

It’s become easier for you to know that you can rely on yourself to problem solve, ask for support, and participate in your life without feeling burnt out and overspent.

Now, there is a sense of peace with the parts of yourself you’ve been scared to let others see. You can comfortably sit in the thought that you’re a reasonably good person and that your thoughts and feelings make sense. About Me

Online Therapy in TexasThe focus is on helping YOU overcome struggles.

I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout and those who experienced trauma. These are the struggles that keep people from living the life that they deserve and want.

My clients appreciate my calming presence in our sessions. I focus on your needs while helping us move forward in the healing process. I like to tell my clients that I’m not here to tell them what to do; I’m here to support them in figuring out what they want to do. My clients like that I’m down to earth and can laugh during sessions.

Some of the modalities that I use in sessions include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

When off the clock…

I’m probably hanging out with my husband and our two spoiled cats, playing video games, listening to audiobooks, or watching Netflix. I love learning languages and dancing.
