There is no time or energy for in-person therapy.
Sure, you want some support, and therapy is a good idea. But you feel exhausted from all the other demands on your time. You feel spent between work, making time for your partner, taking care of the new foster puppy, seeing friends, or running errands.
Thinking of going to a therapy office feels daunting. Taking an extra hour off work for the drive, getting stuck in traffic, and missing part of your session make in-person therapy seem impossible.
Then, there is the problem of returning to work or home during rush hour. Ugh – “Isn’t therapy supposed to lower my stress instead of raising it?”
For a long time, however, things have felt “off.” You’ve thought that you’d like to give therapy a try. Getting some support and talking things out with someone neutral and nonjudgmental would be nice.
Well, I have an offer for you that allows you to receive the therapy you need at a time and place of your choosing.
Virtual therapy may be what you need.
With virtual therapy, you can receive the support you need – minus the trek across town. Pressing a button to join a video session beats that 30-minute drive any day. And there is no more missing valuable session time because you got stuck behind a bus or took a wrong turn.
Therapy has never felt more comfortable. You don’t need to put on makeup, can wear comfy clothes, have the cat in your lap, and enjoy a mug of tea – perfect! Plus, no more worrying about seeing someone you know in the therapy office. You can do therapy from your home, office, or wherever is most comfortable and convenient.
I saw my therapist in person for years. After trying virtual therapy with her, I know I can get the same great quality therapy virtually. The ease and convenience have made the therapy so much easier to work around my busy schedule.
Virtual therapy works as great as in-person therapy.
Whether it’s talk therapy or EMDR, studies have shown that virtual therapy gives the same great results as in-person therapy.
Virtual therapy receives praise for its ability to offer specialized services to people who may not otherwise have access to them.
Now, you can see the therapist you want, not the one who has an office closest to you.
Getting started is easy.
All you need is a phone, tablet, or laptop with a camera and access to the Internet. Connecting to WiFi is ideal for a smooth connection.
Go to a comfortable place where you’ll have privacy. Some clients find it helpful to turn on a sound machine outside the door of the room they’re in to mask their voice, but it’s not necessary. Grab a cozy blanket and have your cat or dog join you. I love saying ‘hi’ to my clients’ pets!
I recommend taking about 5 to 10 minutes before and after each session to relax, take some deep breaths, and take some time to get yourself in the right headspace.
We will connect on a secure site, and the connection is easy.
Therapy has never been more accessible.
The universe seems to conspire to make this as easy for you as possible.
Give me a call, and let’s talk about your needs and how I can help.
